Norseman Sculpture
This is a wonderful and fitting tribute to the history of the town of Norseman, also to Laurie Sinclair for nobly naming the town after his trusty steed, Norseman. The town is such a lovely place, although it has a much reduced population due to a demise in gold production in the area. The main operation still working is the Central Norseman Mining Corporation which operates the mine in the area. You can see the mine works and spoil heap on the way up to Beacon Lookout which is just to the East of the town. Like many other Outback towns, Norseman depends quite a lot on passing trade and tourists. In this respect, Norseman is very welcoming to visitors. The businesses in the town have managed to thrive so far. Norseman lies on the lands of the Ngadju people.

The Containbow
Beautiful structure of containers painted in rainbow colours and arranged in an arc form. The park is by the road side, easily accessible and need a short walk from the car park down the road. Quite easy to find parking. There is a public toilet and some food just across the carpark. Great space just to hangout with family and friends.
